Picking up your trash and not taking from the wildlife will also help to keep the natural beauty of the park. The theory was created so that the people who visited the park did not destroy it. One of the most famous roads of transportation in the park is Skyline Drive that stretches 105 miles from the south of the park all the way up to the north across the entire park. The highest elevation on Skyline Drive is at Skyland, which sits 3,680 feet above sea level. During the busier months of tourism every year, this road sees more traffic from the amount of people in the park.
